Spring training 2005. I had a good camp but didn't make the big club. Started in AAA and then eventually ended up in DC for the Nats for a brief moment, their first season in existence.

The 7th inning ballon ceremony was one of the many cool things they did there. After singing their 7th inning song the fans would release all the balloons. It was quite a scene.

Port St. Lucie, FL - at 39 years old an attempted comeback as a sidearm pitcher. At one point PC Dan Warthen, who I had in DET in 99-01, made me switch baseballs because my sinker was moving so much he thought I scuffed the ball. The Mets did not sign me then but they did a couple of months later. After I threw this bullpen I stopped a gas station right outside the ballpark, put some ice on my shoulder and drove 10 straight hours home to Atlanta.
